Edgewater-Lake Wanaka has been awarded the Travellers’ Choice 2020 award from Trip Advisor, the world’s largest travel platform.

The award is based on a full year of consistently great reviews from travellers, prior to any changes caused by the pandemic, and exemplifies that Edgewater is within the top 10% of properties worldwide.

 Edgewater – Lake Wanaka is fully operational and adheres to NZ Health Department directives on cleanliness and contact tracing.  The award has been a positive boost to the team after challenging times, in recent months. The hotel is the only accommodation in Wanaka directly on the edge of Lake Wanaka.  There are 103 rooms and attract leisure, wedding and conference guests and welcomes daytime visitors to the dining areas.  Edgewater holds a 4.5 star Qualmark hotel grading.
