The Assembly Gastropub
Perched high above Queenstown in the Upper Village near the Skyline Gondola the Assembly Gastropub, formerly The Bavarian Queenstown, has outstanding views over the resort and offers a culinary journey celebrating New Zealand produce and hospitality.
“As customers navigate their way through our grand entrance they are generally awestruck by the sheer magnitude of this establishment that boasts eight-metre high ceilings and a diverse array of spaces for every conceivable occasion,” says hospitality manager Emma Foreman.
The gastropub, in its bucket list venue, provides tailored experiences with seating for up to 300 people in the spacious restaurant.
“We can cater for a wide variety of guests, groups and events from a casual rendezvous over beer and nibbles with colleagues to an intimate dinner with friends or a more spirited gathering for several hundred people.”
“The menu celebrates New Zealand producers showcasing premium ingredients sourced from local suppliers,” she says. “From the succulent Provenance lamb rack to melt-in-your-mouth OraKing Salmon each dish is crafted with care and served in generous portions at a price point that won’t break the bank.”
The Assembly Gastropub has 30 beer taps pouring an array of local craft brews to suit all palates.
“If wine is more your style then explore our curated selection of Central Otago wines expertly chosen to complement the menu,” says Emma. “For people looking to imbibe without guilt we have plenty of refreshing, non-alcoholic healthy drink options to enjoy making it the perfect spot for those participating in Dry July.”
