SPOTLIGHT ON SUSTAINABILITY
A Queenstown company is focused on sustainability as it spearheads a new direction in residential and commercial construction management.
Project360 was set up almost three years ago by Queenstown man Mark Neal. From upmarket homes at Millbrook Resort to large, commercial developments his team manages and oversees building projects for clients from start to finish.
So strong is the demand for the different approach Project360 offers the company is opening an office in Auckland. “My background is in quantity surveying and construction, but I’ve always had my own ideas about how it should be done,” says Mark. “Project360 brings together the right team and streamlines the build process for clients. We’ve got contacts based all around the country. Rather than competing, we pull together the best team for the project, sourcing the right skills and expertise for the job.” Mark’s local connections have attracted some of the best builders, architects and consultants in the industry

“We have a directory of experts to call on and we can advise clients at any stage,” he says. “Local real estate agents even recommend Project360 to help clients choose land to build on. For many of our residential clients it’s their one and only building project and we take that seriously. It’s a special event for them.” “Our commercial clients select us to help them manage large projects from start through to completion. Like our residential projects it’s our job to keep the budget and design in check. We go onsite, get our hands dirty and make sure the build team has everything they need.” Mark says Project360 is enthusiastic about sustainable building projects which will shape the future of the region. Being based in his hometown he has a good understanding of how well-planned buildings can serve the community over time. “A client commented to me ‘I want a building which will last thousands of years, not 50 years’ and I loved that. At Project360 we want to be one of the leaders in sustainability.”
