Mrs Woolly’s General Store is a warm and inviting winter escape in the heart of Glenorchy at the head of Lake Whakatipu.

“Our café cabinets burst at the seams with Kiwi specialties such as hot pies, savoury cheese scones and delicious, sweet slices,” says Kylie Broxton GM The Headwaters Eco Lodge. “The store and café is a lovely place to spend time browsing, enjoying wonderful food and relaxing in a cosy corner on our leather chairs originally used in the Oscar award-winning movie Power of the Dog.”

Barista coffee, herbal teas and gelato sundaes are some of the drawcards along with outstanding alpine views.
