Owned by women and created for women Wānaka’s luxury athleisure store Fearless promotes active and leisure wear plus accessories to support healthy lifestyles.

“We focus on sourcing top luxury leisurewear brands such as New Zealand designer labels Marlow, Clique and Rose Road along with our very own Fearless Club brand,” says store founder Shelley Barret.

“Australian top sellers instore include super popular brands Lorna Jane, Cartel and Willow, L’urv and Alexandra., Our lifestyle shoes are covered with New Balance, Lacoste and Puma.”

Shelley opened the Helwick Street store three years ago attracting a strong following amongst locals and visitors.

“Having three daughters and seeing them influenced by body image and social media I felt it was important to develop a safe space where women can come and try on comfortable stylish clothing that make them feel good and empowered to be active in their everyday lives.”

“We have a selection of carefully curated women’s active and leisure wear ideal for gym workouts, yoga and Pilates classes and travelling. I like to choose pieces that easily take women from the gym class to the café.”

Shelley personally likes nothing better than taking a yoga class or walking Wānaka and Hawea tracks to stay fit and warm in winter outfitted in some of her popular, sustainable active wear.

“We have our best-selling thermal leggings instore along with winter down vests, beanies, long sleeves and a range of sweats and sherpa style jackets to keep you snuggly and warm through the colder days.”
