Contemporary artworks by Eelco Hilgersom were recently unveiled at Bonham Art & Design Gallery in Arrowtown. Showcasing the Amsterdam based artist’s lifelong fascination with structures found in nature, the series entitled Habitat features organic shapes in vibrant hues inspired by organism’s intricate communication systems .

“The response to Eelco’s work has been incredible with many of our clients appreciating his stunning works that explore contrasts in form, colour and material,” says gallery owner Jason Bonham. “We were very happy to collaborate with Aalto paints using their incredible multi-pigmented colour ‘Artifice’ on the gallery walls to create a deep and moody backdrop for Eelco’s organic elegance.”
