Boutique Luxury at The Spire

Queenstown boutique hotel The Spire has confirmed its luxury status in the resort after winning a number of 2023 World Luxury Hotel Awards including the coveted Luxury Small Hotel title.

“These awards acknowledge the important and integral role The Spire plays in the Imperium Collections high-end hospitality footprint in Queenstown,” says group general manager Kylie Hogan. “The hotel rounds out our offering with undeniably bespoke experiences within a modern luxe setting,”

With meticulous direction from Kylie and her team the hotel and No.5 bar and restaurant have recently been refreshed appealing to younger travellers and individuals seeking a new high-end concept.

“The Spire captivates the most discerning visitors with its sophisticated aesthetic and one of a kind Church Lane location within Queenstown’s inner landscape of restaurants, bars, galleries and hotels. It is the ideal location to anchor yourself and easily explore everything the resort has to offer,” says Kylie.

“As a boutique hotel with just ten suites our guests are treated to an expansive suite complete with fireplace, Eames chair, an ensuite with bath and a balcony overlooking Queenstown’s CBD.”

Guests have access to all the Imperium Collection sister properties’ amenities including The Vault Spa, Pacific Jemm luxury yacht, Eichardt’s Bar and The Grille by Eichardt’s.

“We invite guests to treat The Spire as their home away from home where it is easy to pop downstairs to our intimate No.5 bar and restaurant – it is an effortless blend of fun, style and convenience.”

Award-winning Cuisine

No.5 appeals to diners who appreciate fine attention to detail.

“Imperium Collection executive chef Trent Watson has created an exceptional menu featuring New Zealand ingredients including local kai moana,” says group general manager Kylie Hogan. “It’s a real Kiwi culinary experience with stories behind each dish along with a curated wine list of local and international wines. Our clientele love the food’s creativity and are intrigued to discover The Spire’s new adventurous dishes.”

She says No.5 bar and restaurant has seating for only 30 guests and has a welcoming warm ambience combining chilled tunes and delectable cocktails and drinks produced by a team dedicated to their craft.

“Whether it’s an early evening cocktail, cosy dinner for two or late night drinks at the bar our clients enjoy No.5’s intimate atmosphere designed to ignite conversation within a relaxed and elegant setting.”
