Midwinter Gathering at Cloudy Bay

Cloudy Bay is partnering with Food by Fire for a memorable winter dining experience at The Shed in Central Otago on Sunday, July 12, from 12 pm to 4 pm.

Guests will enjoy Food by Fire’s signature Full Hearth Experience—an open-fire long lunch designed for relaxed conversation, seasonal flavours, and exceptional wine. The menu features yakitori cooked over charcoal, followed by dishes including harissa lamb shoulder, venison with six-hour cabbage, fire-cooked hapuka, and wood-fired butternut, finishing with a surprise dessert paired with Cloudy Bay Pelorus Rosé.

Throughout the lunch, guests will also enjoy a selection of Cloudy Bay wines, including Pelorus on arrival, Sauvignon Blanc 2025, and Founder’s Cellar Central Otago Pinot Noir 2020. Winemaker Dan Sorrell and Central Otago Vineyard Manager Derek Beirnes will be in attendance, offering guests the opportunity to meet the team behind the wines. There will also be an exclusive tasting of two new releases from the Founder’s Cellar range.
